You walked in with symptoms and walked out with an antidepressant. And when you asked about hormones, you were told you're too young, or that this is just what getting older feels like.
You cleaned up your diet, trained harder, fixed your sleep, and the weight still won't move. So now you're wondering if the problem is you.
You've either never had your hormones properly tested, or nobody explained what the numbers meant.
You're exhausted all day but wired awake at 2 AM, and no amount of sleep leaves you feeling rested.
Your mood, focus, and patience aren't what they used to be, and some days you're convinced you're losing your mind.
The migraines came out of nowhere, and the pills they gave you for them made you tired, foggy, or heavier.
Here's What You'll Discover During The
The "Hormone Blind Spot" hiding inside standard bloodwork, why most doctors overlook it, and how you often end up on an antidepressant, a sleep aid or the pill, when none of them address the real cause.
The three ways women get dismissed, undertested or misinterpreted (including "you're too young for menopause"), and which one has been happening to you.
Why your labs came back "normal" while you felt anything but, and what the normal range was actually built to measure.
Why even the biggest lab panels on the market skip the four hormone markers that matter most for women, and what those four reveal that nothing else can.
Why the FDA quietly changed its position on women's hormone health in late 2025, and what the headline that scared a generation of women in 2002 actually got wrong.
The difference between being tested and being understood, and why you can walk out of that appointment with a full lab report, a prescription, and still no one who can tell you what's actually wrong.
Before Dr. Tara Scott was the hormone expert other doctors call, she was the patient sitting in the exam room.
As a practicing OB-GYN, she was living with endometriosis, infertility, and irregular periods, while being told the same thing her patients were hearing: everything looks normal. She knew the science. She had the training. And her own field still couldn't explain what was happening inside her body.
Then her brother passed away at 38, even though all of his tests had come back "normal" too.
That was the moment "normal" stopped being good enough.
Dr. Scott dove into the research her medical training had skipped. She became certified by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, earned her certification as a menopause practitioner, and founded Revitalize Medical Group to give women the kind of hormone care she couldn't find for herself.
Today, after more than 20 years in integrative hormone medicine, she directs the Women's Health course for a physician fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, teaching practicing doctors the testing and interpretation most medical schools still don't cover.
She is, quite literally, the doctor who teaches doctors.
